The Team

Cranks is more like a family than a business, and just like every family we like to gather round the table and eat. So, when we say our products have all been taste tested by the most critical of judges, we really mean it.

Some of us may already be familiar to you; we’re the ones leaping for joy on our sandwich and salad labels. Although, we’re afraid that the identity of the naked man on our bread packaging is going to remain our little secret (for legal reasons of course).

Now for the formal introductions…

Ben

I guess I was the typical thirtysomething, working too hard and certainly playing too hard. Then it happened, the birth of our first child and with it responsibility!!! Fresh fruit and vegetables became a major part of my diet and they tasted great. But best of all, I had more energy and felt really healthy.
Phil

The hardest part was stopping buying chocolate at the same time as paying for petrol, oh and going to the gym wasn’t that easy, and cutting down on alcohol…… I was about to turn 40 and realised that if I didn’t do something now then the spare tyre was there to stay! I still love a trip to the takeaway and plenty of what I shouldn’t have but I feel better, food tastes better and I have loads more energy. It’s all about finding your own balance.

Sarah

I'm no angel when it comes to food, especially on a Friday night, but I love the feeling you get from having your whole body in working order with energy to spare. Let's face it, you can only get this way by eating right and moving around more, no matter what else they tell you. It's not always easy but it's always worth it.
Kain

I always thought that vegetables were dull and tasteless. But when my husband found that his cholesterol was high, I discovered that they can taste really good. Eating healthily isn’t just about salad leaves and going without, I still enjoy a few glasses of wine and M&M’s are a particular weakness. But hey, nobody’s perfect.
