You may remember this many years ago as a sandwich, unfortunately it tended to look a little sad after travelling, so it was reincarnated as a wrap, and you guessed it, went on to win ‘Hot and Spicy Sandwich of the Year 2005’ and the overall Sandwich Designer of the Year Award.
30g guacamole – home made would be great
15g hot and spicy salsa – we use one from English Provender who sponsored the award .
15g sour cream – full fat
35g Monteray Jack Cheese
30g chopped fresh tomatoes
10g Chopped Cherrybell peppers
Spread the guacamole over half the base, keeping a one inch or so gap at the edge of the wrap. Spread the salsa over the other half, leaving a gap across the middle for the sour cream.
Scatter over the chopped tomatoes and Cherrybell peppers, followed by the Monteray Jack cheese.
Carefully fold the left and right sides in a little, fold up the base, nearest you, almost half way, then roll up as tightly as you can without breaking the wrap. Slice in half at an angle.
