Crank Up Our Recipe Book! Competition

Cranks Philosophy

Since our swinging start down Carnaby Street in 1961, Cranks have always been champions of great tasting, wholesome food. From the remaining Cranks Kitchen down in Totnes, Devon to our slow risen wholemeal loaf and vibrant range of delicious handmade sandwiches available on store shelves, our philosophy has always been that nature knows best. Proper food indeed!

Cranks Recipe Books

Nowhere is this way of life better embodied than in our range of classic vegetarian recipe books. From the original Cranks Bible, which features our legendary Homity Pie, to the most recent tome that is the Cranks Recipe Book: The Vegetarian Classics, our books are jam packed full of delicious vegetarian recipes and have been inspiring food-loving vegetarian cooks for years.

Cranks Bible: New Edition

So, for our cook book fans, new and old, we have some super exciting news! This coming autumn, we'll be launching a new edition of The Cranks Bible with a little help from our bread making partner in crime, Richard Corrigan, our bread making partner in crime and slow food champion. Along with an introduction, Richard will be contributing couple of new and exciting recipes to our cook book too, so watch this space!

Enter Our Competition

However, nobody knows great tasting, wholesome vegetarian foods better than our fans, so through March and April, we're looking to our community of Cranks to share their best vegetarian recipes to be in with a chance of being featured in our latest edition of The Cranks Bible.

All you have to do is share the title, ingredients, instructions and cooking time of your recipe (plus a picture if you have one) on our Facebook app, Crank Up Our Recipe Book, and we'll choose our favourite recipe to be included in the new Cranks Bible coming out this September. The competition closes Friday 10 April, so make sure you get your entry in quick!
