We've just launched some new prepared meals in Waitrose! The delicious new varieties (Mediterranean Vegeatable Stew, Red Pepper & Sweet Potato Thai Curry and Chickpea & Borlotti Bean Cassoulet) all come in a new single serve pot format and are available from selected Waitrose stores for £2.99. Try the Thai Curry with rice or a jacket potato for a filling yet healthy lunch or the hearty and tasty Mediterranean Vegetable Stew is not only delicious on its own but it works as a great side dish too. The Cassoulet is authentic and delicious and certainly helps to warm up a cold winter's day!

We have been busy working on some new & delicious sandwiches & wraps, which we are now proudly ready to launch! The tasty & healthy varieties which will be popping up here there and everywhere (see 'Where to Buy') include 'Slaw & Order' - a new twist on the classic cheese and coleslaw combination, 'Carrot Crunch' - a combination of carrot, sultanas and cumin spiced soft cheese, and finally 'Houmungously Delicious' - a combination of houmous, chickepeas and mixed peppers. The wraps are equally delicious and include 'Sunny Side Up' - with free range egg mayonnaise and vine ripened tomatoes and 'The Grape Escape' - a crunchy mix of home made coleslaw and seeds in a tortilla wrap. Cranks are about to launch two new Prepared Meals into most Waitrose Stores. Appearing at the start of February, we're proud to announce that Cranks Famous 'Homity Pies' will be one of our new additions to our prepared meals range (see picture). Handmade in the UK, with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, they are a quick and easy way to recreate an old Cranks favourite. If you have plenty of time on your hands, however, you can always make your own from Cranks original recipe. Whether homemade or shop bought, these are perfect comfort food for the few remaining Winter months!
Our second new product to launch is 'Spinach and 3 Cheese Lasagne'. Handmade in the UK, this lasagne combines Spinach, Ricotta, Italian and Soft Cheese, with a hint of Sunblush Tomato, Garlic and Nutmeg. Totally natural and utterly delicious, this lasagne is perfect served with a crisp green salad. Again if you want to make your own version and compare it to ours, you will be able to find the recipe within the products section of our site.

We want your recipes! If you have any favourite vegetarian recipes which you would like to see on the Cranks website, visit the recipes section of our website and upload your recipe, along with a picture if possible, so that you can share your recipe with thousands of others! Who knows, we may like it so much that we choose to feature the dish in our Cranks Restaurant in Dartington!
Alternatively, we still need pictures for some of our Cranks Recipes which we are featuring (from a selection of our Cranks Recipe Books) - so if you have tried any of these, send us your picture so that others can see how great your cooking is!
